Cedar Creek Lake is located approximately one hour southeast of Dallas,
Texas. It is one of the most popular areas in Northeast Texas for those
seeking lake activities, lake living and leisure. The shoreline of
Cedar Creek Lake is lined with homes of "permanent" or "weekend"
residents. It is also one of the few Texas lakes that allows your own

Cedar Creek Lake is the fourth largest lake in Texas covering 33,750
acres with 320 miles of shoreline, 18 miles long and 8.5 miles wide.
Surrounded by thirteen incorporated communities, Gun Barrel City, Mabank, Seven Points, Tool,
Kemp, Caney City, Enchanted Oaks, Eustace, Log Cabin, Malakoff, Payne
Springs, Star Harbor and Trinidad, the lake has a combined population of
approximately 75,000 residents and is growing fast.
